Housatonic Valley Radiological Associates was founded in 1978 as an independent diagnostic imaging provider based in Danbury, Connecticut. HVRA now has locations in Southbury and New Milford as well to better serve patients in those communities.

HVRA is comprised of an experienced team of board certified, fellowship-trained radiologists and fully trained technologists licensed in specific modalities. Our technologists and radiologists have been with HVRA for an average of 7 years or more, which we believe greatly enhances quality of care in the long run.

Individualized care, accommodating scheduling
At HVRA, our technologists and radiologists exhibit patience and compassion by explaining procedures and results to you thoroughly. They understand how you might be feeling about your exam because of their experience in the field, and possess specific knowledge of your case. In addition, HVRA aims to be flexible in appointment scheduling. In most cases, we are able to accommodate patients despite a full schedule.

Quick and accurate results
We will notify your physician of your results within 24-48 hours of your examination, although 95% of all studies are read within 24 hours. In the event of an emergency, we will notify your doctor immediately of your results and promptly arrange any necessary follow up exams. Mammogram results are typically provided on the same day as the exam.

HVRA is conveniently located in Danbury, Southbury and New Milford to meet the needs of residents in these communities, providing a non-institutional, secure and comfortable setting. All of our facilities offer Saturday and extended weekday hours, and strive to accommodate your scheduling needs.
